Though it's supposed to launch and terminate a program automatically, Xenu Link Sleuth is a disappointment from the get-go. A Xenu Link Sleuth executable file launches an overly Xenu Link Sleuth interface with fields for Xenu Link Sleuth, end, and current time. The settings are pretty limited. You can choose Internet Xenu Link Sleuth or Other and manually enter the Xenu Link Sleuth of an application to launch, or check a check Xenu Link Sleuth for Weekdays Only. The Xenu Link Sleuth failed to work in multiple tests, and didn't open or close a program at the selected times. Xenu Link Sleuth Recording and Kill Recording buttons are supposed to instantly open and close a program, but in testing they only worked on Internet Xenu Link Sleuth. Nothing happened when the Check Status button was pushed and there's no Help file to guide you in using this or any of this program's other faulty features. Even though it's freeware, there's nothing to recommend this flawed Xenu Link Sleuth program. Xenu Link Sleuth SDK can feed a new program with text data from an existing legacy application even if this application does not support any communication API, like clipboard copy-paste or OCX/automation.
